  UK Driving License  
   
  If you want to drive in UK regardless of your nationality, you must obtain a Driving Licence within one year of your arrival in GB. Failure to do so may make your motor insurance invalid and it is a crime
  Learning or Provisional License:
  Without provisional license you cannot get regular license.
(You cannot drive on a G.B. provisional licence without being accompanied by a full licence-holder - check the DVLA web site above for information)
Documents needed:
1) completed application for D1 (available all Uk post offices)
2) passport- size colour photograph taken against a plain light background (plain light background is very important)
Original identification documents (any one of below will be accepted)
Full Valid Current Passport
Birth Certificate
Certificate of Registry of Birth
Adoption certificate
ID Card issued by a member state of the EC/EEA
Certificate of Naturalisation or Registration
3) Enclose your fee (it is usually about £38.00)

  Full License
  Once you get your provisional license then you need to take first theory test after that practical test
Theory Test:
First you need to pass the Test (MCQ) with a score of at least 30 correct answers out of 35.
Preparation:
Study: The highway Code Book, Driving Test Book

Practical Test:
Once you have passed the Theory Test, you can book the Practical Driving Test. This test takes approximately 45 minutes . You will be asked to do several maneuvers including an emergency stop and a hill start and they may may also ask you about coolant, oil check etc.
