Compare


The core function of a compare tool is to compare the contents of two files. It analyzes the lines of text or blocks of data or words or charectors in each file and highlights the discrepancies between them. highlight the differences between two files or sets of files.

This is not a professional code diff tool; this compares typed and source files for typos and errors. Use professional diff tools if you want to diff code files.

Click on more button on main-window and select compare button in drop-down window or select compare menu from left-hand menu.

 

Select source text file and typed text file from the popup and click OK.

Click new button to select new comparison.

Provides Three Diff Modes:

Line-by-Line Comparison: Provides a line-by-line comparison of text files, showing which lines have been added, removed, or modified. This feature is particularly useful for tracking changes in source code or textual documents.

Word-by-Word Comparison: Provides a word-by-word comparison of text files, showing which words have been added, removed, or modified. This feature is particularly useful for tracking changes at texual documents.

Letter-by-Letter Comparison: Diff tools often provide a letter-by-letter comparison of text files, showing which letters have been added, removed, or modified. This feature is particularly useful for tracking changes source vs typed documents.
